Sophia Bolio is a Staff Music Therapist at Infinity. Sophia is nationally board certified through the Certification Board for Music Therapists. She received her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, with a minor in Psychology. 

Sophia completed a nine-month internship program at Kennedy Day School, a specialized school program at Franciscan Children’s Hospital in Boston. In her time there, she worked with students aged 5-22 of varying cognitive and physical abilities. She built a caseload of group and individual sessions and co-treated with speech, occupational, and physical therapists.   

During and following her internship, she joined a team of music therapists at All Newton Music School in Newton, MA. As one of the Music Therapists on staff, she provided traditional music therapy services, as well as adapted lessons. She also provided behavioral support through a musical lens in music groups at All Newton.  

Sophia’s primary instruments are guitar and voice, and she enjoys utilizing the piano and ukulele in music therapy sessions as well. At Berklee, she was a member of Point of Departure, their premier vocal jazz ensemble. In her free time, Sophia enjoys reading, watching scary movies, and hanging out with her cats.
