Leadership Programs

Are you looking for a way to help your students, afterschool program, or even your business managers develop their leadership skills? Music can assist in the development of verbal and non-verbal communication skills, active listening, and other skill areas essential for strong leadership. Our clinical team is skilled at developing drum circles, improvisation sessions, and other musical interventions to work on leadership skills. Our programs can be conducted during a one time group or through a series of programs that build on each other. Our team will travel to your school, program, or business and we also provide programming for groups up to 15 people at our clinics located in Southington and Groton.

Our most popular leadership program uses a drum circle format. Each participant practices ways to communicate and lead their fellow participants through a variety of rhythm activities guided by a board certified music therapist. The group is designed to build confidence while providing foundational support through song.
