Karlie Mindek, is a Job Shadow Intern at Infinity Music Therapy. She is currently a
Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree. in Music, and a minor in Psychology, at the University of Connecticut.

Karlie’s primary instrument is voice, with the Alto Saxophone as her secondary
instrument. Karlie is working on building her proficiency in Piano, Guitar, and
Percussion. 

As a Job Shadow Intern, Karlie will participate in weekly workshops with our Director of Services, small group supervision with members of our clinical team, observe music therapy sessions throughout the state of Connecticut, and conduct a Community Music Group as part of Infinity’s community outreach initiative through our Pay As You Are Able Program. 

As a Job Shadow Intern, Karlie is excited to learn more about the field of Music
Therapy, in order to utilize her background in music and psychology, and decide if this is
the right field for her
