Caleb’s primary instrument is percussion, and he is also proficient on guitar, piano, ukulele, kalimba, and voice. He enjoys performing in rock, folk, and funk bands. In clinical sessions, Caleb incorporates an improvisational approach to encourage active learning, creative expression, and engagement within music-based interventions and activities.

As Assistant Director of Services, Caleb provides clinical leadership and support to Infinity’s team of music therapists across Connecticut. He assists clinicians with intervention planning, clinical problem-solving, documentation, and overall service delivery, with a particular emphasis on maintaining ethical and legal standards related to clinical documentation, data, and service provision. Caleb also provides specialized support around the use of percussion and drum set within music therapy sessions, helping clinicians consider how these instruments can be intentionally incorporated into clinical interventions.

Caleb continues to serve as a student supervisor and plays an important role in developing the next generation of music therapists. As Infinity’s former Lead Student Supervisor, he oversaw four student and training programs and supported interns and students in connecting clinical practice with the reasoning behind music therapy interventions. His approach to supervision emphasizes asking not only what music-based intervention is being used, but why it is effective, how it connects to a client’s needs, and how music therapists can make thoughtful, ethical, and intentional clinical decisions.

Caleb is one of Infinity’s early childhood gurus. He brings particular strength to working with young children and creating playful, developmentally appropriate music experiences that support communication, self-exploration, attention to task, and active participation. His ability to meet young children within their interests and use music and play as a foundation for connection is a valued part of his clinical practice.

Beyond his clinical and supervisory responsibilities, Caleb is passionate about helping create a workplace where clinicians can provide high-quality services while also caring for themselves. He promotes practical self-care strategies, thoughtful division of work, and sustainable work-life balance, while modeling the importance of investing in personal well-being alongside professional growth. Caleb believes that a well-supported clinical team is better equipped to provide meaningful, responsive, and high-quality services to the people and communities they serve.

Caleb brings energy, creativity, musicality, and a genuine passion for helping others to everything he does at Infinity. He is excited to continue supporting clients, clinicians, students, and interns while making plenty of musical memories along the way!

I fell in love with sociology, social anthropology, psychology, and the human condition, and developed a desire to help others. I luckily came across the profession of music therapy, that combined my two passions of music and caring for others. Here I am today!”
